Fresh Spring Blend
A herbal symphony with delicious mint notes and hints of peach and spice. The perfect pick me up. The peppermint gives the blend a spicy fresh profile, and it has long been associated with relaxation. Rose petals weave a delectable floral character through the cup. Since time immemorial Roses have been given as pick-me-up gifts - we figure including them in an herbal tea ought to have the same affect. Ginger's heat adds a layer of vitality to the blend that is sure to get the taste buds reeling and synapses firing with positive energy. Osmanthus is a flower known for its pleasant aroma and inspiring flavor. Rounding out the blend is the mellow herbal character of South African Rooibos, packed with Iron, Zinc and more.
Peppermint + Spearmint leaves, Rosehip pieces, Ginger, Rooibos, Rose + Calendula + Sunflower + Osmanthus petals.
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tea or 1 tea bag into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herbal tea. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea or removing the bags. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
