Piña Colada
Sip into paradise
It’s been said you’re never truly on vacation until you have a Piña Colada in hand. This iconic Caribbean drink, blending coconut, pineapple, fresh cream, and rum, has been delighting taste buds since 1954 when Ramón “Monchito” Marrero first crafted it in Puerto Rico. So beloved was his creation that in 1978, Puerto Rico declared the Piña Colada its national drink. Today, millions have enjoyed its refreshing taste—and now, you can experience that same tropical indulgence in a teacup.
Our Piña Colada Herbal Tea captures the essence of this classic cocktail without the alcohol. Each sip is a sunny getaway, featuring the crisp sweetness of apple pieces, the vibrant tang of hibiscus petals, and the tart brightness of rosehip. Pineapple and coconut pieces bring the signature Piña Colada flavor to life, creating an exotic, fruity, and creamy profile that’s perfect hot or over ice. Indulge in the fruity, floral notes of our Pina Colada Tea and let it transport you to a sunny paradise, perfect for any time of day.
HOT BREWING METHOD
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serving)
Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tea or 1 tea bag into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herbal tea. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea or removing the bags. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
